Ask ANY aerial adventurer who the most BODACIOUS of all hang time artisans is, and 12 times out of 9, they’ll say Darryl Davids. What does hang time mean to him? We caught up with him in mid-air to find out EXACTLY that.

“Hang time… what do I need to say about hang time? It’s the third thing I think of when I wake up in the MORNING, the ninth thing I think of when I’m brushing my teeth, and the SEVENTH thing I think of when I’m eating my BREAKFAST.”

“When I’m flying through the air, nothing can phase me — all of my problems just wash away. Have I missed a few classes? Probably. Was I meant to pick up my little brother from football practice? Perhaps. Did I forget to lock the DOOR meaning the house got ransacked by intruders and all of my family’s possessions were taken and now my mother lives in a CONSTANT state of fear and my father is drinking worse than ever? SURE, but when those tyres wave goodbye to terra firma, all those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the warm, California sun.”
